As the visionary leader of TESTme Health, and based in the Scottish Highlands, Iona has dedicated her career to advancing the field of food intolerance and gut microbiome testing.
Meet Iona
Like many of the people she helps today, Iona spent years in her twenties navigating a maze of unexplained symptoms. It wasn’t until she found the right testing, and a truly supportive mentor that things began to change.
Learning to ask the right questions and make small, meaningful changes, Iona transformed her health and makes it her priority to help others do the same.
As a mum herself, Iona knows firsthand how challenging it can be to manage your own health — let alone your child’s. Navigating symptoms in little ones is often confusing, emotional, and overwhelming.
That’s why she created the TESTme Junior Kit, a simple, supportive testing option designed to help parents get real answers about their children’s food triggers, without the stress or guesswork.
Our mission is to empower individuals, providing accurate, efficient, and accessible testing solutions, which uncover food (and other) triggers to enhance good gut health, and overall well-being.
Iona brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to her role at TESTme. Trained under the esteemed guidance of Mr. Stan Richardson E.S.S.M.A. Dip.Ac (Hons), Aur.M.Soc.BioMed. F.A.A. M.S.F. MAB. Phys., and serving as the Director of Bio Med scan, Iona has been steeped in the principles of excellence and client-centric care from the outset.
She continues to uphold the ethics and values instilled by her mentor, ensuring that the interests of our clients are always her priority.
In addition to her foundational training, Iona is a Certified Nutrition Coach through the ‘International Food Matters Nutrition Certificate Programme’. This badge of certification symbolises her commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in nutritional and gut health science, and her dedication to empowering clients to achieve their health and wellness goals.
